Actually yes... I have imaginary friends that are not necessarily emotionally needed in terms of an actual romantic or sexual partner. But something to explore the world in the different light.
I believe it takes a great imagination to create everything you need psychologically. I have Gwydion, he uses magic as a tool for pain relief, someone that is energetic and talkative, helps with real world things. While Rhoslyn is more of a mature female friend I never had, sorts out the logical from the illogical and serves as my memory.
I don't use them for sexual relationships, but they rather use me instead
they also cover any basis of fetish, curisoity or things otherwise I can't have.

Interesting! That reminds me of Florestan and Eusebius , though I believe those were more along the lines of alter egos than friends.
If you don't mind sharing a bit more... I'm curious: do you suppose your situation is a result of not having real-life connections or is the support for your ability to maintain them?
I've had psychological assessments on what these are... Rhoslyn according to a therapist resembles my own mother and the lack of female friends my mind needed, while Gwydion was more me, the child me, hyperactive full of life that never was due to being an overweight child.
Quite interesting, but the more I get to know them more, the more they adapt and change to fulfil areas of the conscious needs or desires. They've adapted to my interests willingly, such as the fact they fulfil a Furry hobby and so fourth.
They also have their own quirks, Rhoslyn is a chocoholic and often interacts with candy stalls in shops, while Gwydion sees himself as a superhero, a magician that does good with proof of doing good by the various medals of good deeds and proudly shows off.
Sorry for rambling, but as I talk about them, the more I can't stop
