I have a gf online from Mexico, and I care about her dearly. But as of late, she has been under a lot of stress and lots of school, and thus has not really wanted to talk. I asked her if she was still satisfied with the relationship. I believe she also is bi polar she said. I felt a little scared before i discussed this with her. What do you think?

Then how the hell am I ever supposed to get ahead. It seems you have modernized women on the left, and gold diggers on the other. How the heck will I ever keep up?

maybe you should say something like "We've been going out for a while now and I care about you deeply, but I need to know if you're committed to this relationship, or if you need some space for a while."

She said I was her bf, I am more worried about keeping in contact, but I don't want to be a dick, since her reason is legitimate, since she mentioned she would be busy with school. In addition, she has bi polar, so sometimes her moods swing.

As for the gold digger, I guess what I was saying, is that it seems like with almost every love, there is a string, and this relationship does not seem like there are as many tradeoffs.

I guess just give her her space for a while. College can overwhelm people sometimes. Does she have a job too?

she manages apartments for her folks, but that is more a side thing. She has mentioned visiting me when she comes to visit her cousins. I guess you are right. I just get all uptight when friends say that I should move on, but I am not quite sure whether I or them are reacting right.

That is true. We have been very intimate , and so this was very special, plus she seemed rather intellectual, and sweet as well, unlike any woman I have met. I just don't want to waste it. Call me beta or whatnot, but I love her. I love my friend, but still... I am moving in June, hoping to land a job in another city so I can invest, live off the returns (real estate), and eventually settle down there permanently with her. I am hoping I could get a decent wage so i could fly down for the weekend and see her ^_^ .
