The best kind of relationship is one where both of you have equal say in what happens and neither one has any sort of control over the other.

My idea of a good relationship is where both of us baby each other; that way, we feel like we have the responsibility of taking care of each other forever.

I agree with you & I'm in something like that now. I'm dependent(thou I'm getting better) & needy & clingy(but I'm a lot better than I used to be) but I'm also very supportive of my partner. & my girlfriend is dealing with some emotional stuff(depression which I been through before & anxiety) & thus needs & also likes more attention & closeness & affection which I love. When it comes to control we kind of alternate which one takes control because we have some different strengths & weaknesses & thous in different situations one of us may be better or more capable of dealing with it than the other but we also kind of discuss with each other 1st. For example when it comes to shopping she knows how to figure out the bus schedule & how long it may take as well as making the list but she discusses with me about when we'll go & what time we'll leave. But I'm better at dealing with people so I asked for bus transfers or ask to have buses held after she tells me to; & today we had property maintenance come(to fix the upstairs window that got smashed by a rock & to fix a couple other things) & my girlfriend stayed in her room & I let the guy in & talked to him about what needed fixing & made conversation.
