My girlfriend & I are separated to give her time for her girlfriend. She misread my SMS when I said I'd like to meet both of them and I have all the nerdy reputation in the world to deal with. For now I'm taking a trusted friend's advice and pretty much maintaining radio silence, having told her I'm alright with needing time for ourselves and that I wake up and forgive her every day. Since I'm a professional coder, I've been expressing to my friends ways in which all of us can keep our heads above the screens.

She blocked out my boilerplate "boyfriend texts" and I'm not particular about what our relationship means, it's not just love I can bring to her life, I know she's contemplating some gigantic questions for me, concerning really tough events in both our lives. We work our asses off and we've had friends die; my support is unequivocal. She's the hardest working, most caring creative person I know and we love each other. We don't need perfection. I already told her I won't put her through what my parents did to each other. Everyone I know draws upon my optimism in the face of our crazy lives and I see this as the surest way through to her. She fears commitment more than I so I've relinquished hers; this is cyclical.

My question is how to show her through the actions in my life that my work is for everyone's convenience & security and that above all I am protective of my friends and our good names. The plan now is to disappear for a while in the Colorado rockies as she gathers her mind. Cberg don't do breakups. Now how do I bring my true family back into my life on their terms? She deserves all the time & space in the world but abandoning my lady friend is out of the question. We all miss one another sooner or later, this girl is the queen of my universe so I need advice on how to roll out a SERIOUS red-carpet welcome mat. Zero pressure, returning only love, until we make peace she's the only one I want to attract. We're just goofy tree-hugging people who need one another, how shall I highlight that?

Believe me if you choose; yes, I get all the exercise I can and we're very attracted to one another. My taking things slow has troubled her so I just send her the kind of optimism that keeps aspies like me alive. Hence, I'm content with giving her quite some while...
