I stressed that my daughter loves men. by your hundreds of posts- and your lack of recent dating history- that seem to exhibit an enormous amount of anger towards men, you seem more than a little wary of them. Do you think you would make good relationship material with all of that rage? Do you think men would want to get involved with someone so angry? that is all I am saying. I truly hope you can get some much needed healing [though I honestly believe your "possee" is making it worse for you long term.]
I do not want a flame war. I want Autistic to work together to improve the lives of ALL of our people.
you are aware that my best friend is a guy, right? if i hate men so much then why would i talk to one every day and hang out with one? wouldn't my "rage" be off-putting for him? he's pretty honest too, so i think if he were detecting rage at men from me he would let me know. yet he seems to feel pretty comfortable around me, and we rarely if ever argue about anything. in fact, my experience has been that men tend to be more comfortable around me than other women are. i've always found it easy to make friends with guys--women, on the other hand, not so easy. i've had many women tell me they find me intimidating (at least at first, until they get to know me and realise i'm just quiet when i don't know people very well). so yeah, i'm not sure where you've gotten this idea that i'm so ragey at dudes that i can't handle being around them. also, just because i admit that i haven't had sex or a LTR in 10 years, doesn't mean that the opportunity hasn't been there. i do, rarely, meet people, and yeah, some guys have shown interest. i just haven't met a guy that really captivated my interest in a long time, enough to make me seriously consider dating him.
i really don't believe for a second that you care about me or my healing. you said what you said to hurt my feelings, and you succeeded. i hope that gives you a warm glow, as i know people who say such things are looking for that reward of knowing the hurt struck home. well, there you go, enjoy your cruelty. it suits you. i previously thought you were a nice person that was truly trying to help people, if maybe in a misguided and misinformed sort of way. now i've seen your true face and i know better.
