So I've me someone I like. Now I'm stressed...

What do I do now? I invited him somewhere, with other people, he said yes, we talked, we got along well. Now what? Do I wait for him to invite me somewhere? Is it his turn now?

I don't like this part, when you know you like someone, but I feel like there isn't really anything I can do. I don't want to jump in too soon, but I don't want him to think I'm not interested either.

You're whining, that's good - it's always a good sign when single women whine, congrats already you have guaranteed a bf.

Now go ask him out.

Dont wait for "his turn", that is old-age stuff.
if you want to meet him again, invite him again, perhaps with less people around this time.
if he is interested, he will ask you after a few times, when (if) he gets the hint

How did he behave when you met? Did he flirt with you or show interest?

Flirting? I have no idea. Show interest? He talked to me, so that's a plus.

I can't remember the first time we met, we've known each other for a couple of years, but never really had much of a chance to talk.

I think that I need to just invite him to some other thing. I'm getting together with friends again in a few weeks time, so I'll invite him along too. I can't think of an excuse to get together again sooner. Shrug.

I need to not be impatient. But there always seems to be some other woman who swoops in if I go too slow.

Seems you are not too much into flirting. You would have to then ask him directly to meet together for something just the two of you, like coffee or whatever (as above mentioned). Otherwise he would have no way of knowing you are interested. You can do this the next time you meet him with your friends, or shortly after.
