I don't smoke & have bad sinus problems but I would give a smoker a chance because there's lots of things about me that would be problems for lots of women & I'd still like a chance so it's only fair if I give smokers a chance too. But very thankfully my girlfriend doesn't smoke.

Yes because I smoke as well....though not sure if they are a chain smoker, not sure I could stomach being around someone who has a cigarette in their mouth most of the time in an intimate manner.

A smoker of what? I won't date a smoker of hard drugs or mainstream cigs, but I would have a go with someone who smokes pure tobacco.

Well I am married (and very happly to be married) so I will not be dating a new woman. But I would be very unhappy if my wife took up smoking, also when I was single and unattached I found smoking to be a very unattractive thing in women. I tended to find the idea of going out with non smoking women more attractive.

It just means you'll have to pick up smoking too. Yay, you just got a new hobby!

I smoke but rather date a non-smoker. Another smoker would mess up my routine.
Not that I go dating, hang out would that be, and that's not something that's going to happen anyway.

It's kind of unpleasant, but there could be a lot worse when it comes to things that aren't ideal. I'd go for it unless it was really heavy smoking, which used to worry me half to death along with all the other unhealthy habits that person had.

Nicotine is more addictive than heroin, and smoking is a really easy habit to get sucked into, unfortunately, so I don't judge people who smoke. It's a hard addiction to break. At least it's legal, so it wouldn't be like dating someone addicted to an illegal drug, with all the risks that go along with that.

I don't smoke, but I wouldn't mind dating a smoker. Who knows, maybe it would help to cope with my weirdness. :)

Even if I was single, I would never knowingly date a smoker.

No because the smoke makes my lungs go really bad.

I'm a light smoker. I smoke because it helps calm my anxiety when I'm outside. So yes, I would.

I would prefer if the person didn't smoke, but someone being a smoker wouldn't stop me wanting to go on a date.
Unless i had health problems then my health come first.

I wouldn't mind dating a smoke as long its not chain smoker. I personally smoke a quarter pack a day as it helps with anxiety and I have found no working alternatives. It seems as if people would rather have my die from a stress-related heart attack than have me smoke lightly easy most of my stress. Plus that is a family curse: The non-smokers are totally OCD and build up stress and die from a heart attack while the few smokers (like 10%) are very easy going and live almost into their 90s. I would rather risk getting cancer when I am 60 or 70 than die before 55 from a heart attack.
