I'm trying not to worry too much or be too full-on for her.

But I've already found myself stressing because I'm at my folks house tonight before I go for AS tests tomorrow and left my phone at home so I messaged her from my mum's phone to just say hi and would she like to meet up this weekend.

But now I'm stressing that she'll think that bothering to call home and get my housemate to search for her number in my phone to give to me so that I could message her from my parents place is a bit too much.

Is it?

I'd really like for this not to be over before it begins, I was very surprised that I actually managed to meet a nice girl and talk to her for a couple of hours at a gig.

Normally as soon as my band is finished playing I rush outta the venue and go home, but she started talking to me while I was packing up my gear and we got along really well!

:)

How would she know you did that unless you tell her? If she does ask, just say you had her number written down, no biggie.

How long ago did you meet her before texting her? She came up to you, so she is clearly interested, so don't worry to much there. If you are worried about when to see her again, why not tell her the next time you'll be playing, so she can come, and let things progress from there instead of saying you should go out and do something alone?

It's not too much. If you don't send the message, she will think you aren't interested. Those are the NT rules of engagement. Go ahead and get the number and text her. Good luck!

We met at my bands last gig, so there won't be more for her to come along to, but she actually already asked me out for coffee at the time.

I've since messaged her and she wants to meet for a few drinks and to see a band.

The idea of that kinda scares the hell outta me 'cause I tend to get very distracted in public places with all the people around and have trouble focusing my attention on what people are saying to me, but this girl managed to hold my attention for a couple of hours outside a crowded gig so I've decided to just throw myself in the fire so to speak.

She works with people with varying degrees of disabilities, aspergers included, so she's familiar with it and seems to be very good at making me feel as comfortable at possible, so I'm sure if there's any problem she won't mind if I wanna get out of there.

Will keep you guys posted!

:D

Coffee's easier than most things, especially if you can manage at a quiet time or place.

The reality is it seems that she likes you...so try not to stress and enjoy it (easier said than done, I know)...I always look at it like it doesn't matter if they are a boy or a girl...you might just make a nice friend....

life is an experiment!

So.... I just got home and am a little drunked.

But all in all I think it went pretty well.

After a few hours of talking and general uncertainty as to whether or not she was interested I just asked her straight out.

At first I thought she was just giving me the whole "we can be friends" line, but she was very specific and told me that she really likes me but would like to spend some more time with me before anything further happens.

So we're meeting up again tomorrow night to get to know eachother better and then again next friday for coffee.

:)

I'm pretty happy all in all.

:D

So we went out again last night.

Saw some bands, had a few drinks, she crashed at my place (I slept on the couch though), we had a lot of fun.

:)

We're taking it slow, but it's definitely a relationship in the making.

:D
