Is this a type of flirting?

About a few weeks ago, I met a girl who asked me all sorts of questions like "Why are you so quiet" and "Do you have any siblings?" Then a few days later, she (probably) noticed I don't smile much, and she just teased me into smiling for her. So I was wondering, is this a type of flirting?

Maybe, maybe not. Really depends on the girl. It's possible she's flirting but equally possible she's just a friendly, chatty and outgoing girl who's like that with everybody.

It seems that she was trying to be friendly with you in a platonic manner. Flirting may be defined as someone who may behave as if he/she is attracted to you.
