I met a girl 3 weeks ago on a dating app and was pretty surprised cause i wasnt really expecting anyone to even be interested in me. I had actually seen her a couple of times at college too so that made me feel better that it wasnt a spam account or whatever. We had a couple of good conversations over the first week and then I asked if she would want to meet sometime. I was really excited when she said yes and I asked her if she wanted to meet that Friday. For some reason she didnt respond so a few days later I asked again in case she didnt see my message. She still didnt respond and it has been almost 2 weeks now. I dont wanna make her think I am clingy or dependent so I havent messaged her since. Seeing as she is the only girl to show an interest in me I am hoping to try again but I dont know if I should.
On dating sites, girls receive like hundred of messages everyday, because girls way outnumber guys there (don't believe what dating sites claim, they lie and they count inactive users too) - so never take anything for granted even if the girl says yes.
Between that short period of her Yes and the time you asked her about the time, she would have received a lot of other offers- and probably picked a guy she perceives better, and no, she won't tell you, she would just ignore you.

That's the main problem of dating sites, a girl always has the upper hand - because while you might have only one girl or very few showing interest in you, she always has way more than you.
Basically, online dating is a waste of time for males.
