I'm on OkCupid, I'm not very good at writing on dating profiles, this is what I wrote; I love doing art, I'm very good at it, I also write poems, I love to sing & dance. Should I write more? Any advice. One guy already messaged me. Soon I will forget what his face.

yeah, you might want a bit more than that, if you want more realistic interest in you.

men on dating sites will often message anyone of their preferred gender, no matter what you wrote.

OkCupid has a few categories, like 'my standard friday', 'what am i doing with me life' and 'the things i can't do without'.
filling those out is a decent start.

you can also look at profiles from other people to see what they have written.
make sure that these profiles are the same "type" as yours (woman/man and seeking men/both, whatever your case is)
