Controlling feelings of attraction to a friend

to get an idea of who and what I'm dealing with, if you haven't done so already. Anyway, as of yesterday a friend informed me that the girl was upset that I cut her off, and asked that I try to reconnect with her. I obliged, we met up and talked, and it seems to be about the same as before. I still feel attracted to her, even though she has a BF. She, however, knows now that it bothers me to be around someone who has rejected my advances of romance. I want to know how to stop being upset with her and myself, and try to enjoy the benefits of a friendship with a girl who genuinely wants to be around me, and has something to offer to me.
