Everybody has a right to stay single, but I don't think anyone really wants that.

Pfff, that's just a bit more than the whole population of Poland. :D Besides, nobody is entitled to be loved. Those men (or women) should just accept the fact that they might never find love.

It was supposed to be a parody of Katy, but that's a good advice in general I think. Problem is how can you do it. People are meant to love and be loved.

It is probably hell for Lesbians there.

I guess Poland has more men because a lot of women there go abroad and get married with Britains, am I right?

I think the video was wonderful and I cried. Just because people aren't what society thinks they should be doesn't mean they are "left overs". Those women are trying to find something good about being single instead of just moping around and thinking badly of themselves. What if you never find someone? Is your life forever going to be depressing? A person is more than just being in a relationship. There are other things in life that can bring happiness. A person shouldn't be given a label just because they are or are not in a relationship. I applaud these women and the parents who accept them as they are.

Careful for what you wish for.

Yes, it is said in this video it's like parents selling daughters, but it's also like selling men, they will basically choose you over your "specs" ie. height, income, house, car...etc. You would be a product to purchase.

Me too.

(Actually there are some similar attitudes towards one's parents between China and where I live.)

Mean like how women do currently?

With arranged marriages it could be done simple because two family's have a long standing friendship or history. And surely having their daughter married to anyone would be better then not married in that culture right?

How's that different to online dating? You write down your specs. Pictures and profile description are like an advertisement and you write messages to potential buyers.

The only difference is that parents are involved, but maybe it's not a bad thing. People often bring a relative when making an expensive purchase. :D
