How you know if he is the one, how much stuff you need to be in common with? I don't know these stuff. I only had one boyfriend over 20 years ago, I jumped into a relationship with him without getting to know him. I didn't find anybody yet, but I want to know this.

This is how I think of things:

If I weren't attracted to this person, would I consider them a best friend?

No - not the one
Yes - looks promising

If he beats all your candidate males in the mud fight.
