I keep thinking bad about myself because I don't have a Hunny, but then I listen to the relationships that my coworker nurses are in and I just want to run for the hills and never think about men again!
One just had a baby and had been with her "Hunny" for years. She is now in school full time, works full time and all he can do is give her hell. They are not married and he can't even be trusted to take care of the baby when she's at work! He's acting like a 2 yr old!
My friend Julia works about 70 hrs a week and her now husband hasn't been able to find a job for over 3 yrs! He's not trying. And she does most of the work at home - even with the kid they had together.
Another nurse I work with keeps going back to her ex-husband even after he tried to strangle and kill her! Wth?! He's lucky he's not with me cause is shoot him a new A-Hole!
And still another nurse ended her marriage for her best guy friend and now he's with his gf (who he was supposed to break up with) on a vacation. My nurse friend is still shocked.

Are there any long marriages out there that don't have strangling and fighting and cheating involved? Or maybe I should just keep going home to Waldo and counting my blessings? What ever happened to true love, or is there even such a thing?
Yes, there is such a thing, and there are long marriages with little problems.
Dude, if you are talking about one like yours, I don't want any part of that.
