I'm just so frustrated. I thought I'd met someone who was perfect for me. We had so many interests in common. So many shared passions. She was smart, ambitious, the whole package. We had a couple of outings. Tonight I called her to chat, and she just seemed so aloof. I could barely get a sentence out of her.

I think of all the times i was alone, just wishing someone would call to say hello. Yearning for someone to reach out. I try to give others what I yearn for. I try to be the one to reach out. They don't want it. They don't want me. I just want to matter to somebody.

Goddamn it. Goddamn me. I want to hurt myself.

Maybe she was in a bad mood.

Try again tomorrow.

Something else could have been on her mind.

Ask her out to another venue.

Maybe act cold towards her until she texts out of the blue.

Did you ask her why she seemed so distant, and if her feelings had changed?

I know it must be frustrating.

Maybe she was in a bad mood, and didn't say much, because she didn't want to upset you. When I'm in a bad mood, I'll either complain a lot, or I'll get really quiet, so I don't complain a lot. If she's normally very talkative on the phone, perhaps this is the case. As much as my boyfriend and I have in common, I find that when we get on the phone, we don't say much either, even though we talk a lot in person. I find it a struggle to keep up a conversation with him on the phone, for some reason, so we say what we need to and hang up. LOL. Don't give up. Love is frustrating sometimes, but worth it. I also agree with Dr Pepper. Ask her how she is feeling? Us women really like that sort of thing. Also, no couple loves each other equally. It is never truly ballenced out, but it should be at least somewhat fair, I agree. one person shouldn't have to do all of the giving. Love has no score board though.

Just ask her if she wants to date or not if you're confused.

Judging by her lack of interest, she doesn't. Forget her and move on.

You're kind of ignoring what he said. She never calls or texts. That's a bad sign.

Ooor she's lazy. She likes him, but he's been doing all the work and she's cool with that.

Phone her again or arrange to meet in person and ask her how she is.

You're becoming realist.... I mean "cynic" regarding relationships hurtloam.

That reminds me of myself at times. Hmmm.

Ha ha, she wouldn't have been aloof she would have ripped his through out. Ask the face of Boo what happened the last time he messaged me when I was on the rag.

Not ignoring what he said. I'm referring to specifics as opposed to reading signs or making assumptions.

I suppose that's sensible when you don't know all the details.

I just don't understand how someone could be interested in someone else, but never bother to contact them.

It's a bit of a sore point for me at the moment.

I knew a guy who was dating a girl. I knew both of them but knew him first so we had a rapport. They were into each other but I hadn't seen them in awhile and asked him how they were. He said it was great except he was grossed out because she never waxed her upper lip. She started doing it and now they're married. Maybe it could be something as simple as that.
