Hey Everyone,
I have trouble with love and dating. I tell girls I like them, but they stop talking to me, or become reclusive towards me. I knew a girl for half a year, and had half a dozen conversations with her, and I was genuinely sure she liked me, but she still reacted the same way. Similar situations for other girls. I don't know if I give off a weird vibe, or maybe I don't know how to navigate socially. Any ideas as to what's going on? Thanks. :)

I'd have to see/hear/read you in action, to get an idea of what's going on.

Possibly you are being too formal about it? Conversing with someone ~once a month, just six times, isn't much. That doesn't mean there can't be attraction, but what did you say to her when you told her you are interested? She may have had no clue you felt that way, as such infrequent communication generally doesn't suggest interest. She may have assumed you both knew it was platonic, and was taken aback to learn otherwise.

The only possible scenario I can think of is that you're being too direct about it.

If you say you want to be a world ruler, then laugh at yourself about it in front of people, I think people would respond well to you.

You have aspirations----but you can laugh at yourself, too.

People can't stand people who take themselves too seriously. It's a real bugaboo amongst some Aspies.
