There is a man that works in the same building as I do whom I find very attractive. One day, he bumped into my mother and I and my mom jokingly, made a comment about how he almost ran her down. Without really looking at him, I jokingly said, “don’t even worry about it. She’s fine! She’s resilient.” My mom than told him she does the same thing as he does for a living and he made a comment that people in their fields “gotta stick together.”
Later on he walked by and looked at me and and I gave him a goofy smile, to which he responded with one of the biggest, nicest smiles I have ever seen.
I see him walk by my window at work everyday but, I’m sure he is unaware that I’m the same person.
I recently found out from someone that knows his brother, that he is aspie. What is the most appropriate and unweird, way to approach him? Especially if he is unaware of me. FB message?

Walk up to him, look him in the eye*, and say, "Hi! How ya doin'?"

C'mon! Really?
NT women seem to "accidentally" bump into someone they're interested in all the time!
"Fancy meeting you here!" (trans: "I was hoping you'd show up!")

I mean, “fancy meeting you here!” Would be cool, if I was certain he remembered our meeting. Otherwise, it’s like “who is this crazy chick who thinks she knows me?” Which, as I am used to embarrassing myself in an awkward fashion, is rather comical.
I will add that I have bumped into him outside of work too. He was standing behind me in the package store, once. Had good taste in beer...

Well, there you go!
He may already be showing his interest in you (in his own way), and he's just waiting (hoping) that you will reciprocate.

Maybe. I’d think that he’d look at me again though, like that first time... but, of course who knows. Also, sometimes he walks out at the end of his shift with his mom, who apparently works there as a nurse...

Well, I've told you all that I can. The rest is up to you -- either you take the initiative, or you don't.
Good Luck.

Well, since he is an Aspie, waiting for him to take the initiative might result in nothing, he might be interested but not know the correct way to show it. Since he doesn't seem too bothered by social interaction, I think I agree with Fnord that you will just have to approach him directly! Remember to make your interest very clear and literal, and not rely on hidden body language to do the job for you.

As for the guy, as above.....try to be where he is, without him noticing at first.
I think that is the best advice. Will take some effort & persistence from her, but then, if there is a real interest, she should be able to go through with it.
