Possibly a daft question

35-year-old autistic male here.

Quite recently a very good friend of mine (57-year-old NT female) told me that she had a dream in which I asked her to marry me and she accepted.

Would you all call this definite, irrefutable proof that she likes me in that way?

I'm just looking for opinions.

I don't think the dream indicates much on it's own, but the fact that she told you about it might.

Depends on her 'unspoken' words towards you before, during, and after she said it. On the surface I would think she has some sort of feelings towards you and said that to see your verbal and/or nonverbal response.

If she had no feelings towards you I would assume she wouldn't have shared that with you.

Marrying someone in a dream doesn't mean they're into you, but telling you about her dream of marrying you may mean she might be into you.

Unless you're already in a dating relationship, sex dreams and marriage dreams are just not appropriate. They are dreams and they mean more or less nothing. The only definite, irrefutable sign that somebody wants to marry you is if they ask.
