This is just a curiosity or for fun thread: what kinds of sites, smells, settings, and sensations do you generally associate or like to associate with intimacy?

In the sense of romantic intimacy, or intimacy in general?

I was thinking more romantic but if you wanna take in a different direction you may want to specify that in the post.

Romantic, Sexual, or Romantically Sexual?

Anyways, with just casual romantic, I usually like scents I assosiate with food. Also the feeling of the skin on my GF's sholder, or her hair is one that I assosiate with closeness, and likewise for her the feeling of placing my hand on her sholder, or running through her hair are likewise assosiated with the same calming closeness of me being there.

I also assosiate her with the sight of flowers, as she loves it when I give her flowers from my garden. It's even better to her than if I had bought them. I now assosiate the act of gardening with her as well.

Quite a nice way to tie an assosiation. With this sort of assosiation, maybe I should start having some dates with her to go exercise. Maybe that will get me off my butt. *laugh*

In all honesty, it varies depending on the person I an with or fond of.

Invariably though, the person's scent is vital, and I rely heavily on positive snsory memories regarding the person. There are exceptions, though; with one person, I associated the feeling of a strong wind with him, with his scent, with his aura...I can't really explain it in words. The wind felt the way he felt. Another guy was associated with incense, partly because he was a hippie, but also because the sense and smell of incense reminded me of him...after all, some of the other guys burned incense, too.

Now, if we are talking sexual intimacy, I have a lot of those...I need to mull this over some more...these things do not easily convert to words for me.
