Strange is that I personally do. But I still think it is pathetic in comparison with NTs.

What's the average?
What's the average per age range?

I'm probably below it anyway since I always read about people's social lives and girlfriends and whatnot. . .

Average meaning the collective of all aspies you know, online offline or now about on TV.

Funny poll. By definition 30% of aspies should be on the first answer "doing better than 70% of aspies", 40% should take the second and 30% should take the last one.

I think potentially I could be doing better, if the focus of my life was on trying to get a girlfriend from a young age. But as it is I have the relationship sense of someone 15 years old.

Recently I have met social success, but nothing complete.

Either out of lowering standards due to loneliness or finding the perfect girl for me and hitting off right from the start... I believe I'll eventually have a relationship.

There is no average, we all have difficulty.

Is this question for guys only? I'm female but have dated 35 women. Dating isn't the problem, its finding someone who isn't mental, lazy, a druggie or alcoholic or abuser that is difficult.

This test was to get aspies prospective on how they compare to other aspies. It wouldn’t not be completely accurate, because most of use only know of a limited number of aspies, that probably doesn’t properly represent A Typical aspies.

If I was to believe what the professionals knew about aspies, I would end up believing that Aspergers Syndrome more or less the same as Autistic Savant. Some aspies in this forum would probably believe that. So they would end up thinking that they fit in the 70% plus range.

I've had 3 real girlfriends that lasted for 3 months, 3 months, and 2 months respectively....where does that put me?

I have dated a few beautiful girls, but all the relationships were very short (less than 3 weeks) and we never got anywhere. I don't know if that makes me better or worse, but it is infuriatingly frustrating trying to date. The only thing that makes it easier is having sex with escorts, and that only relieves the sexual tension. If it wasn't for that I would go insane.

I never had the hindrance of knowing I had Asperger's to prevent me from success with women. My first relationship was five months, my second involved me losing my virginity and lasted fifteen months, my third was eight months and involved more sex than I think I'll have for the remainder of my life, and I had a fourth fling that kinda happened twice. I've been pretty successful with women. And most of them were gorgeous, too.

I'm female. I've never dated in the traditional sense, but I have had more success with relationships than many NTs (and aspies). Friendships are more challenging.

I am female, in my first real relationship with a wonderful man. It's lasted over 10 months so far.

I think a big thing for relationships is courage. You need courage to go out and make yourself social, you need courage to talk to someone, you need courage to trust them enough for a potential relationship to work, you need courage to ask them out/accept them asking you out, you need courage to keep the lines of communication open.

My two cents.

Now I have no money left.

:(

Oh well.

 :D

At the ripe old age of 28, I've been in two relationships so far, and I have casually dated seven other women.

I can't say I have a better time dating than most Aspies, because I don't know the experience level of "most Aspies". It just sounds too stereotypical.
