I need some other people's opinions. I have been involved in a situation with a woman for 11 years now. I met her at a former job back in the 90's and we became friends, but I also had a bit of a crush on her too, but I could never really figure out how she felt about me. I hid it from her because she had a boyfriend at the time.
We eventually had a falling out and she stopped talking to me (The root cause, I believe, was my AS, undiagnosed at the time). She moved out of town soon after. She returned the following summer to my place of work (she was working as a rep for one of our vendors). I fully expected her to ignore me, but to my surprise she said hello to me! We ran into eachother at a local event soon after and we made up and became friends again...
Long story short (too late), we communicated for a while and we had another falling out. This time we stopped talking for seven years (she subsequently got married and divorced and I moved away). I was diagnosed with AS shortly after we parted ways.
Seven years later I came across her name in the local paper and decided to contact her. To my surprise she responded to my message. Unfortunately, my timing was bad. I was going through some unrealated personal difficulties at the time and my AS seemed to "flare up" (even though I had made a lot of progress since diagnosis). I pissed her off and she will not talk to me now (I DID NOT threaten her or anything like that). I had tried time after time to apologize to her (I even told her about the AS), but she will not respond. It is as if I never exsisted.
I think she must have some feelings for me, at least as a friend, otherwise why would we have both made such an effort to maintain a relationship over more than a decade? She just confuses the hell out of me! Am I just completley wrong about this? Is my AS just completly making me misread the entire situation? Help!

Not doubting she does is the right thing to do.
