Never mind that I've never heard of the character Adonis before; maybe it should have been Don Juan instead. Anyway, are you like him? Can you sweep a woman off her feet (or a man off his, I suppose)? Can you charm a lady with your rhetorical flourishes?

I sometimes say things women consider "sweet," but I don't intend to say them just for that effect. I usually try to be straightforward and say what I believe, and sometimes it just happens to be sweet. Of course, I'm equally likely to botch things by saying something off the mark, unaware that it is off the mark. It's all completely chance.

N.H.,
Do you mean to say you've never said anything you didn't mean??? LOL!! Kidding!! !

I'd say sometimes you can botch things or say something you don't even realize is flirting! I find that happens to me quite a lot. I'm a gregarious person and so sometimes, someone might take me for flirting when I'm just being nice. I'm not one for daft or cheesy expressions. But once I did win a joking.. flirt of the week award because I happened to have two male friends and it appeared to some that I liked both of them. But really, I only liked one of them!!

I've flirted on accident and been flirted with without knowing it before. But I can be a smooth talker, I just don't have the nerve to prove it. I'm romantic on the inside, but I'm always afraid it'll get lost in translation.

I often say things that girls think are "sweet", or that cause them to think I'm "such a good guy". However, I'm not sure whether to take those remarks as compliments anymore, because it seems that guys like me are the types that girls just want to be friends (if that) with. I also often will give the impression that I like someone without really meaning to (or specifically trying not to).

And it's interesting that this poll gives the "dismal at smalltalk" - I voted for that, but really, my problem is that I smalltalk way too much. I guess I can blame that on the "support" group I was in for a while.

I'm a lonely heart and dismal at all flirtation and smalltalk. My problems in this department probably will need serious help or treatment from a psychologist.

I suppose that I would have to say that I can flirt with the best when I'm so inclined.

Vetivert is so damn smart and sexy that any man who can get her to say YES is truly a very very blessed man.
