My friend is friend with someone who threatened me last week. My friend has never understood why I'm don't like this guy. He keeps trying to find out why me and my enemy don't like each other. I've blocked my enemy on facebook but not my friend. I keep feeling that my friends curiousity it is really him trying to wind me up and upset me and to pass threats from my enemy to me via facebook and text. I keep repeatingly telling my friend to stop telling me about my enemy and trying to interfere but he won't stop doing it. If he brings up the topic of my enemy again should I stop talking to my friend? If I do I'd have two enemies...this is stressing me out extremely
Another approach when you can't explain it or trying to explain fails is to say you had a bad experience with him/her and you are extremely uncomfortable talking about it.
If your friend is not ASD they should back off straight away. If they are within the spectrum sometimes it's hard to back off even if they know it bothers you. I've known aspies who have social issues far worse than anyone I came across on here so far (even though it has only been a couple days now) so if they are within the spectrum you may have to push them away every day until they can snap out of it.
