Well, it works because if you're enjoying the thought of killing them you will feel smug and that will translate through your body language, too. It may make you smile, and this will look like confidence which a very important appearance to keep up in social situations. Someone who looks confident will attract people to them like a turd draws flies to it.

This actually works for me. If someone thinks I'm creepy I start thinking about killing them and then they stop thinking I am creepy because I seem confident. Though one warning, don't stare directly at them while imagining their death, that can still seem creepy.

LMFAO!!

Ohh I am sorry, but that actually did make my laugh a bit to much, if anyone who as known my past, heard (I mutter and use my outside voice instead of my inside voice at times) or figured out I was thinking that - They would think I was plotting their/or someone's death.
I do not know how many times people have said to me something like - you known from your background, you should be psychotic - but your just.. odd 8O

Maybe it is not because you look confident, but more so because your smile, looks honest/genuine/true/real?
I know when I think my 'smug, but very happy' thoughts when people look at me like I am a 'freak that needs to be on a leash) - their expression changes, and usually they ask what has me in such a great smiling mood.

We seem to do the same thing, just two completely different things are being thought/ran in our mind films.

Does that make sense to anyone?
