Alright you people - how many aspies have you all met? I've met plenty of a***holes with Aspergers...who play games, lie, bully - all the things that "normal" people do too. I've met plenty of shallow aspies too. A person having Aspergers doesn't make any difference.

Try going on the Wrong Planet chatrooms, for instance.

It annoys me to death that people can't JUST SPEAK THE TRUTH when you ask them a question. Instead they play games with you. When you speak the truth to them though WHOA they can't handle it even when they're asking for it! Oh no, I must first make sure your feelings won't be infringed on in any slight way first. Just exhausting :(

The sad truth for them is this: no one NORMAL ever changed the world.
Learn enough of their ways to open the doors you need and go around the others;
be exceptional and ignore the people that are too shallow to matter.

That is brilliant!

Normal people change the world all the time. What do you think just happened in Egypt?

I am relating back to the orginal thread on this forum about how some people esp. women push out aspies. I have lived this cliche so many times and I really don't understand it. For example, I see often so many young women 18-22 that are very vain on clothing brands even down to the damn ziplock bags they buy at Ikea. I'm always thinking of how depressed and insecure this one girl I know is when I can clearly see her fake eyelashes in my 8:30am class, but she seems to be a key leader in the clique of clones. Boring.....zzzzzzzzzzz

I really don't understand how women create these superfical cliques where if you don't fit, you are out. But really I feel as an suspected aspie, I have greater abilities in seeing the bigger picture outside of an Starbucks or shopping mall.

Don't worry, I agree with you. They are bullies in minority groups too. That's why I prefer to be a lone wolf. Or an asocial house cat. Whichever.
