Yeah, and as the only one on the autism spectrum, I'm supposed to be the one lacking those things  Actually, it's hardly only my family that does this, that's just who I have the most interaction with. I think something about me suggests that I'm of low social rank, so I tend to be treated as such, and I don't have the determination and voice volume to try to prove otherwise.

@Summer_Twilight Those sound like some seriously ugly "friends", I'm so sorry you had to waste time out of your life dealing with them.

It's been many years and I have an update on these two people who talked about me behind me back.
1. I recently caught up with the guy and found out why he gossiped about me. It turns out that he admired my talents in singing though his parents were pushing him to be an ice skater. He didn't really hate me, he hated himself because he wasn't where I was. So he now plays guitar and is singing.
2. The girl and I connected on FB years later too but then she soon unfriended me and blocked me on facebook while boasting about it on his fage. "Are you friends with Summer on FB? I blocked her from mine." Here she was already married and just her a baby. I wrote to her and said that she was a wife and mother and that she needed to grow up. Meanwhile, I didn't have time for her "Drama" as I had stared a life of my own.

When I worked at a warehouse, I was the object of gossip because I refused to fit in their mold and idea that I couldn't do something because I have a label. There was one female there who drama anyway but she was really bad. She posed as my friend and we even did things together for a year and a half and appeared to get along. When another co-worker got hired, she started ignoring me and leaving me out of the conversations. Suddenly, she would leave the room if I ended during break time. Suddenly, other people started spreading it around that I made it up that this girl and I were friends and how she hated me. I found out later that she made fun of me behind my back.

@icechai I had a mental breakdown earlier this year myself. My breakdown was in response to finally telling my mom about some trauma I experienced at the hands of our former neighbor. I was Baker Acted and had to stay at a psychiatric hospital for few days. My parents and my siblings were the only people that supported me through that. Nobody at church really interacts with me or family, but my breakdown made the isolation worse. People just completely ignored me after that and one lady ran her mouth to everyone saying that I was crazy. She and her friend tried to say that I shouldn't go back to work because my condition would traumatize the kids. The kids never saw how bad my condition was. This lady's friend's daughter was one of my coworkers. These women wanted me out of the way so that girl would get all my hours at work. This is the same girl that dominates conversations. I went back to work a couple of weeks after I got home from the hospital. I know insensitive people can be about mental health.

@dragonsanddemons People can tell almost immediately that I'm of low social rank. I'm not a naturally loud person and my voice sounds weird. People would call me a ret*d because of my voice when I was in middle school. I have had to learn to slow down when I speak and project my voice. It's hard to get people to take me seriously with a voice like mine.

@Summer_Twilight Those friends sound really immature. They must think they are still in high school. I have been blocked on facebook too. This woman that blocked me is my mother's age and I was nothing but nice to her. This woman was obsessed with getting in with the popular people and only interested with me when she was at odds with the popular people or there wad no one else in the room. I will never understand why she blocked me. Her daughter only deleted me from her page. Her daughter was just as obsessed with popularity and would brag about babysitting for popular people. A lot of people have talked crap about me behind my back over the years. People have accused of doing things that I didn't even do. I have been called a man stealer and I have been called crazy. Staying a psychiatric hospital doesn't make me crazy, it just means I was in serious need of professional help. If I told people the real reason behind my mental breakdown, the man stealer rumors would start again. I am just as sick of drama queens and frienemies as you are.

@ladyelaine - These situations happened 6 years and right around the same time. Though I was haunted by both, I don't think about them anymore.
