I'm 57 years old. I've long since come to terms that not everyone I meet will like me. When I was young, I used to be concerned about why. Now that I'm older, I've found that I really don't care. People are welcome to like me or dislike so long as they're not actively harassing me or otherwise interfering with my ability to do my job.
Are you currently seeing a therapist? A therapist could help you with the development of appropriate social skills. This person could also give you relationship advice.
