I have a threshold, I don't really like ragers or college parties but I live in a college town, and frankly everyone here can get something worthwhile out of our nightlife if they're careful. I wouldn't call myself a raver, but being an audiophile beforehand has taken me to some pretty interesting places. I privately find it very ironic that I spend most days behind multi-monitors yet schmooze with DJs, promoters and the unsorted subjects of this thread. When I have the money I go to more shows than parties, but normally I just try to keep up with friends and stay fit. I also hold that a weekly serotonin blast or two is probably healthier than many of the massive pharmaceutical regimes I see discussed on here.
