Do you have more online friends or more RL friends?

I'm starting to move more into the friendship phase with some people I've met on WP who, amazingly, share some of my interests. As a result, I'd say that most of my friends are now, in fact, online rather than RL. While it's true that I've run into some communication issues with these other Aspies, as I'm sure they have with me, pleasingly, we are able to continue conversing far longer than I would be able to converse with a NT. Also, this summer, I'm going to try to meet up with some of my friends (many of them more "acquaintances") from high school and see what happens.

in past 6 mths i have been coming to WP, its been the first time ive ever( and i so mean ) ever i have know so many people.
but the interesting point for me is , are there such things as online friends. i mean that , i dont know any one here really , this
is a bunch of words on the screen. can the computer really spread friendships?
ask me 6 mts ago and i would of said no , not possiblebut now i do believe that i can feel (?) emotions thru this screen thru a computer.
its wierd for me but i do feel close to many folks here and like i know them but i cant/dont.
yes im thankfull for my mate s and this computer that has open up my world and i love the friends i have found here.

im glad of this mirroring cos it means im not mad or bad or dangerous to know . it means im human and need to be loved just like anyone else does.

Right now I have 0 real life friends, but I hope to make some at school next week.
