Why would a male friend not hang out anymore?

Yeah, see----I think that's it, right there, in a nutshell..... He's afraid of what people think of him, so he's afraid to put himself out there (ask you out). I think I would just chill 'til next Friday, and get to the mall as fast as I could----and, hope for the best!!

i'll try to make it to the mall this friday, even if I don't feel its such a good idea if he even shows up due to how he's acting

Hi, most men are indeed unpredictable unless he is too vocal about his feelings. There so many reasons though. The best way to do is to spy thru a common friend or ask him directly in a nice way.

It sounds like telling your supervisor that you are concerned about him and maybe talk with mall security if he does it again.

unfortunately that'll just cause more drama, and I ain't sure what to do besides finding a new job and not telling him where i'm going. I have no clue what his problem is or what this behavior is about, so I'll probably just cut contact

I think maybe there might be another reason he suddenly became distant. If he had heard that other people thought you two were dating and he didn't want other people to think that was the situation then he might want to make it clear that you two were not dating.
Its hard sometimes to ignore gossip.

I ain't uncomfortable just annoyed by the situation, and I can't just quit i need the money
