Because it was uncomfortable. New emotions are always anxiety invoking.
You are not used to kindness so kindness throws you off guard.
If she is cute so what? Ask yourself what do I want?
Do you want a relationship? Probably won't get one.
Do you want a hot friend who can help you learn to be more social, teach you about women, and possibly end up a very valuable comrade?
Then what you do is be honest. Not creeper honest (tell your whole life story) but honest honest.
Ask her why she wanted to give you cookies. She will probably say "I don't know" in which case drop the subject. If she gives you an answer listen to what she says.
Do not apologize for being uncomfortable or "weaker" than most guys... because in truth all guys NT or not are intimidated by beauty.
Just let he know what is up. Tell her you are shy but would like to learn to be more social. Tell her that you find her beauty slightly intimidating.
using common "NT" terms like Not gonna Lie, or Honestly should make the discussion more comfortable.
Ask her what she is into... common interest is important in building rapport which in turn is important because no one hangs with people they can not associate with.
Oh and most important keep your interactions shot and simple.
AS people tend to be long winded... girls are not into long boring convos.
So short and simple wins the race. No longer than maybe 10 mins. When you feel the convo slowing up or getting awkward tell her something like "Welp got to go" or "Oh my buddy just texted me, we have practice in an hour" then walk away.
If she says ANYTHING TO YOU other than good buy or it has been fun EG "Oh what practice?"
Then you did your job correctly and can easily leave with a happy smile on your face.
