Prom+running+and a bunch of other things

So I've only been on one date in my life.
I'm 18, yup, and the only date I went to was a dance that I asked a guy to (and he said yes because nobody had asked him already and he is just a nice guy).
Anyways, I've made my peace with that.
What is coming up soon though, I don't know what to do.
Prom.
Bleh.
The joy of some, and the dread of others.
Guess what category I fall into?
So I know I won't be asked by anyone because i have no semblance of a social life.
But it still really sucks.
What is even worse is that I live in a neighborhood with a lot of kids my age almost right next to the school.
I have a run of somewhere around 18-20 miles planned that day.
But I don't want to see anyone when I am running.
That is going to be hard.
What should i do?
Wear sunglasses, a hat, and keep my head down low?
They know it is me, I'm the only one who likes running.
Up until now I have been able to hide the fact that I have no life, and pretend that I am this happy normal person who has a social life.
I don't think I will even want to go to school that monday, or church that sunday because I DON'T want to see those people and hear them talk about how amazing their life is.
Depressing, I know.
What should I do?
Anybody have ANY ideas???????! !! !!
I can't be the ONLY one who has gone through this.

Um, why did you post this in multiple subforums?

Because I didn't know which one specifically it would go into.
Plus, it increases the chance that I get replies, and a diversity of replies.
I am not trying to put it in every forum, but I think it goes with adolescent life(seeing as I am in high school), as well and school life (school) and social skills (the other kids and stuff).
Which one would you have chosen?

I don't know, but all I know is that it's against the rules.

I'm not trying to break the rules, and nobody has told me up until now....
Plus, I'm not posting in EVERY forum, I am in 3.....
Finally, I nobody has taken it down yet, so why are you trying to get me in trouble, I am not trying to troll, I just want answers?

(Oh, and that is not intended to be mean-spirited, so don't get POed I am just really worried about a lot of things, and this place is my help central for issues like these).

Figures, nobody ever reads the rules. But to answer your question, I don't think it matters what you do. There's no way I'm going to prom, I don't care how awesome people say it is. Then again, I don't really think anybody expects me to either.

*Thats the thing, I'm at an interim. I am half normal and half-not. Very few people know that I have autism, and only some people know that I don't have a life. If I don't go, I don't think anyone will talk to me because they might have expected me to go...whereas in your case they don't expect you to go. See what I am saying?
