Does your breath always smell when a friend offers you a chewing gum?

I'm getting that feeling I get when I know I don't get something. :?

Chewing gum = improved breath smell.

And considering I'm never offered chewing gum, no. Then again, I suspect my breath isn't the best during the latter part of the day...

Nah, if someone wants gum, they will often offer their friends some to be polite. Doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Only time I have been offered gum was as an afterthought when some one was clearly already going to chew a piece.

Like when people give you a gift pack of antiperspirant deodorants and bodywashes, it must mean they think you smell right? :P

Reward their favour by buying them a nose & ear hair trimmer.

Don't give them a chance, be chewing every time you go out.

I offer everyone gum regardless whether their breath stinks or not.
I like to share and it'd be awkward to not offer them one while I take one out of my picket to chew.

Well, I never chew gum (because I forget to chew), but I do eat a lot of peppermint. The problem with peppermint/gum is, if you take one and don't offer one to other you run the risk of being found rude. If you do offer them, you run the risk of others thinking you have a hidden message. You really can't go right with these candies so my advice: Don't read anything into it.

Nope.

Chewing gum can help me concentrate with work.

I don't know how, but it just does.

Plus, when I was younger, it helped me slowly stop Pica, as I used to chew plastic and paper for a similar reason.
