Ok walking across the street someone called out my name.
I looked back and it was my college friend
We have met after 12 years.
She had discontinued contact with me on last of college
she never called me up neither kept in touch with me....though i called her up
i had helped her tremendously but i felt she simply used me....

So after this short meeting on the road we exchanged numbers
and we have not called up each other till date its been a week.
I haven't called her up because she was the one who dumped me earlier
and it hurt bitterly because i had helped her lot with studies, notes etc.

Should i not call her up..........technically i would be waiting for her to call first
is there sense in rekindling such a friendship which flames were extinguished
by a self centered person.

I know how you feel. I recently started to chat with my elementary school crush, who now has a four-month old daughter, since I'll be moving to the area where she lives soon. It would be nice to hang out and chat. Last time I saw her in person it was eleven years ago. And I've changed a lot since then, but a lot about me inside is the same.

Personally, I wouldn't bother. It's very common for people to exchange numbers and say "call me," or "we should hang out" when they don't really mean it. Don't ask me why they do this, but this was basically a hollow gesture, and I wouldn't bother.

It might not be a bad idea to call her, but don't go out of your way for them in any way if you do, at least in the beginning of things. She needs to prove to you that she is not the same person 12 years ago who turned her back on you and left you out to dry.

she has changed a lot earlier she was a simple girl now i noticed she dressed up flamboyantly and also she is still unmarried plus working for a call centre....
keeping all that in mind we are two different individuals now unlike earlier
so i will wait for her to call me....
