okay so I met this woman during Santacon(basically dress up like Santa or another holiday character and go to bars.) I was pretty wasted. I get all excited and happy when drunk. she was thinking I was on drugs. I am dating her room mate now and she doesn't trust me in her house. she's in her 40's and I'm 27. my boyfriend is 35. I don't understand how someone can stick to their first impressions. I Don't do drugs.

Good news: Yay! I'm the first to reply you!
Bad news: Let me copy and paste something from a previous WP post of mine...
"28. First impressions count; sad but true.
--Attention decrement: People pay more attention to old information than new information because they are bored or fatigued by the time they receive new information.
--Cognitive discounting: If people perceive you as blahblahblah, they will disregard anything that proves that you aren’t blahblahblah.
--Self-fulfilling prophecy: If you perceive somebody as good, you will treat that person nicely, then the person tend to be good to you. If you perceive somebody as bad, you won’t treat that person nicely, then the person tend to be bad to you."
The woman mentioned in your post is guilty of cognitive discounting.
