Hello,
I live in a town of about 15,000 , and I am currently attending to college here. There is just one problem: I don't know what to do. Sure, I go to the movies, the museum, walk around a bit, maybe trade stocks a bit, and play games, but after awhile those things get boring. And in those times of boredom, people's "plans" tend to get to me. I have heard about people going on spring break and such, and then online you hear how everyone's life is peachy. I F***ing hate hear stuff like that. I honestly wish there was stuff to do that did not involve people (besides the obvious). I have tried starting clubs, but there seems to be no interest. I also tried calling up about toast masters, but they no longer meet. What are some other things I can do in a smaller town?
I generally consider a town of 15,000 to be a good sized city.
Where I live, there are no stores or restaurants of any kind. We do have one church. Our total population is approximately seventy in an area of about fifty square miles.
People generally either learn to find something to do on their own or they go to one of the nearby towns, the largest of which is about 8,000 people. Most of the towns within sixty miles has a population of 1,000 to 3,000 people.
One town about eighty miles away used to throw a big party four times a year that would bring their population for the day from about a hundred up to about a thousand.
