Hi,

I would like to know if I am the only one in this case ... I am not able to go to night clubs, bars, etc... Noise, lights are overstimulating and I feel like a rabbit on a road in front of a car ... Frozen.
And worst, if it happens that I have no choice to go, I don't know how to interact with other people ... I feel like being outside of the aquarium looking at other fishes without understanding all social interaction. I had to go last week with my wife to her Christmas party at work and it was a real challenge... (and this an euphemism...)
How do you manage to do during these times ?

It's a mystery to me how people deal with those too because I avoid them like the plague.

I try to avoid these situations like the plague but when I must,,, usually ill sit at the bar and nurse a glass of scotch or the wife and I will get a corner table and socialize as little as possible. Staying just long enough that our departure isnt inappropriately early. People watching can be a way to pass the time. Observe behaviors and actions of the people there, like a tv show.
