Weeknight Bachelor party

Hey guys I'm hoping to get your opinion on how I should proceed. A friend of mine is having a bachelor party tonight (Monday). I didn't get an invite until last night.....kinda short notice. I have to be at work the next morning and i'm not sure if it would be a good idea to attend. At the same time, I don't want to disappoint my friend. I still haven't said yes or no.

I'm leaning towards saying I simply can't make it. What do you think?

Why not explain you have to go home early because you have work the next day?

I've done this before when I have invites for weekday events, they know i can't stay out late so I'll hang out till 11 or so and go home.

Go. The guy who planned it obviously has no idea of how to plan one so it won't be drunken revelry with strippers where somebody ends up spending the night in jail and the next morning somebody else is missing for two days, like a bachelor party is supposed to be.

Go. Be prepared to be disappointed.

I would say yes. I would go and have fun. I would look at how much time I actually need for sleep and how much I think I can handle in a social setting. A few hours show up and hang out then when you have to go tell your friends or the husband to be to have fun but you gotta go, work in the morning.
