Would it be rude to reply from a different email address?

I've been emailing back and forth with a friend every day for a while. I've had issues for a while with emails bouncing back to me (not with her, though) and today I found that all my emails have disappeared. I can't text her because her number was in one of the emails that I lost. Would it be weird to try emailing her from a different account? We have plans to hang out Friday, and I don't want her to think I dropped off the face of the earth before then, but I'm afraid it would be rude or weird if I suddenly use an address she doesn't recognize :/

I don't think it would be rude, but there's a danger of it being disregarded as junk. I'd try to put some kind of identifier in your subject heading.

Yeah, put an identifier in the subject heading and a short explanation at the start of the email. I don't see why it would be considered rude.

? I don't understand how using a different email is seen as weird or rude. Just explain to her why you're using a different email account. I had my email hacked once so I had to make a new email account, nobody thought it was weird or rude when I used a new email address.

It'll be confusing if you don't mention that it's you in the subject line. But it's not rude.

I know some girls will use a different email address and sometimes even a google voice number at first to sort out creepers.
