I've talked about this person many times before about some issue I had with her and every time people have told me to just give up on her, but I thought such a suggestion was a bit harsh.

Now this person has accused me of ruining her night when we went to see her favourite band because I was under so much anxiety and depression I couldn't even face her. I was also angry when she didn't seem to show much care about my anxiety.

I can better explain it here in this seriously long post: http://helptheywantmetosocialise.wordpr ... long-post/

It's been almost four days since she has talked to me and I'm starting to get over all her hostility. It's not the first time she's gotten so angry at me she stopped talking to me and it seems to happen every time I start to stand up for myself instead of biting my tongue. I've let so much of the offensive things she said (not about me) slide and to be honest though we have similar interests our personalities don't match.

I think it's unfair how she blamed me for ruining her night. It wasn't really that I ruined her night but her moods were too hard to fight which made it hard to forget about the situation. The same thing happened to me the next night. Actually I had so much stress to deal with. I had intense anxiety and then got depressed over my friend not talking to me. I felt lonely and trapped and then a few days later I realised I had my bank card stolen from me on that day too. It's been very hard for me to not just give up and today I'm exhausted.

Having to keep an open mind about a friend with bipolar when she won't keep an open mind about my issues that are very similar is just too much right now. Honestly, right now I'm worrying about losing all my money and starving to death. When I get my new card I have to go to my unemployment services and tell them I have a new account, or do I? I just don't really know. I'm just so unsure about the whole situation.

I just can't deal with this Grumpy Cat temper she always seems to have.

I would rather just be on my own again (I do have few friends left but we're not that close) then having to always worry about saying the wrong thing to her. I guess those people here were right.

Another problem is if she does talk to me again I fear she will just pretend nothing happened between us, and I will not just let that slide. I've now learned how to apologize and forgive and expect people to do the same to me. And yes I did apologize for the part I played and explained why I acted the way I did. And she ignored me.

Does anyone want to be my friend?

You know, I still feel bad that her night was ruined because of my actions but I had no idea it would affect her so much. It's really hard for me to not feel bad about it, or anxious and depressed about everything that has happened to me in the past few days. Then again that's probably just my depression.

Aw. I hate to see people coming apart. Hopefully you two will reconcile and everything will be okay.

I understand where you are coming from. People with bipolar disorder are very difficult people to be around. I was friends with one of them and they would constantly get mad if I confronted them too. Their situation is so bad that just a friendly hello to them is like dropping a bomb on them and especially if they did not like the other person. It really sounds though like this is all for the best. She appears to have problems of her own too and if she is going to act like that leave her alone. It does

I am going through losing a close friend myself right now and although they did not have a temper, the relationship was toxic in its own way. I recognize that we both had our own faults in the relationship and that it's not entirely theirs'. Then again they appeared fine with our situation one minute and then pulled a 180 on the next.

1. They started having an attitude around me as if they thought they were better
2. Like you I was also ignored

This led me to chase them down to see if they were mad at me and it turned out that they did not feel right about us being friend friends anymore. This was because they felt like we were not compatible.

Point here is that you have every right to be upset. I know I am.,

(Hugs to you)

I don't think she can help it but I'm not sure if I can deal with her attitude for much longer. I have a lot of mental health issues myself and I just don't have the energy or knowledge to handle this situation properly. I have very basic social skills and I'm just at a loss about what to do in these situations.

So, I'll wait to hear back from her. If it's avoidant or as hostile as before I might just put an end to this friendship.

We're inviting each other to gigs again and I think I do need this friendship. I haven't had to deal with loneliness for many years and having that one good friend can make those feelings go away.

We're not perfect. We both majorly screwed up that night. We both weren't being completely honest with each other. We were both in a bad mood. I should have realised what that gig meant to my friend and I'm glad we're sort of talking to each other again.
