So, my fiancé wants to meet my friends, because he never met them before. I then called my friends (who are sisters) to see what day is good for them. They explained that they are having family problems (long story), but would still like to meet my fiancé this Saturday. So then I asked what time they'd like to come over, because my fiancé asked.

This is when the worrying began. My friends have not gotten back to me since I've asked them. I'm even more concerned because every time my friends and I set a date to do something, they often forget to let their mom know what is going on, disrupting their other plans (they live with their parents).

I am scared that if my plans go awry, my fiancé might think I am lying, thinking I really have no friends at all, and might leave me, but I also don't want to be selfish about my friends and the personal family issues they are going through right now.

Any advice?

what a shaky relationship is this he will leave you because you dont have friends????

thats quiet a fragile relationship just tell him honestly that your friends havent responded back
to your call and you are not good at making or maintaining friends

i usually tell my partner everything about myself if they dont like it let them walk away
i wont live in a fragile zone where when my truth is found out i will be thrown away

Actually, my fiancé is a nice person, and we have a lot in common. He even assured me this morning that it's no problem if my friends don't show up. It's just that I sometimes worry about making a good impression whenever I have a lot of company and organize things like this.
