...but I probably suffer from autism the worst at my school. I can't always speak up, I have poor eye contact, no one ever wants to talk to me, I don't trust my own mother from advice, and I get too nervous to tell anyone that I'm autistic.

If you want to know, I'm in high school.

yeah, that's how it is for me in high school...i find that i once i start talking about something that i care about, i won't stop talking...which is not a lot for me in high school.
i'm also afraid to tell people at school that i have a form of autism. it's like telling them that i'm schizo or something.

I get a bit nervous as well, but if someone asks me what's 'wrong' with me, I say that there's nothing wrong with me, I have Asperger's Syndrome.

That was exactly how it was for me in high school. Still pretty much the same in college too.

If you do tell someone that you're autistic (I don't really recommend it) tell them you are a savant.

EDIT: Actually I wasn't the most autistic kid at my high school. I forgot about one of them.

Even though I am extremely social, I definitely do have my moments where I'm too shy to say anything, like if I'm around a lot of people and there's no one I know. But other than that, I don't have a problem with the shyness thing. But I hate it when I do! Sometimes I do strike up a conversation, and sometimes I'm too nervous, too, especially if they're not the type of people I'd normally hang around with.

I also don't really belong in my special ed classes because the kids (I would say my whole school intestead) would rather act gangster and immature and the students and teachers won't probably know what autism is.

I might wanna go to a different school intestead next school year.

And my mom understands now that I suffer from autism the worst at school.

Same situation here, when people get curious I just say "I've ADD" or something similar that isn't stigmatising as AS. I shouldn't need to... but hey, I get enough crap already.

Now, as a college-age adult, I'm not afraid of telling someone who I know somewhat well that I may have autism. (And, now, since I now know about Asperger's/high functioning autism.) I think that really speaks for the maturity most people gain after leaving high school, save for a few bad apples--people don't make fun of such things anymore, mostly.

Telling people you're a schizo still has some stigma. It really shouldn't, though. I'll say here that I have suspected schizophrenia in myself on my worst days. On those days, it's probably just my anxiety over past bullying. I've never "heard voices" or "seen things" before, or anything really strange like that.

ADD is an excuse I should have used in high school, probably. Back then, I was worried about any labels being put on me other than positive ones.
