You're on my Facebook and a nice guy and I have no problem with you as I'm an aspie too and understand how things can be at times but I can give you a suggestion that might help. I don't know if you do this with him or not but I've noticed that when you and I talk in chat on FB (rarely, I know - I'm not on that much anymore and I do miss talking to you) that when you are talking about you or something you are interested in, you talk and carry on a conversation but when the topic shifts to the other person or something you may not be interested in but the other person is, you just clam up and say "Oh" or something like that. I know you have told me you do that, and I've noticed that you do it and it doesn't bother me but it might give some people the impression that you have no interest at all in them. I think it might be simply because you don't know what to say about what they said or something like that and you are being polite and trying to carry on the conversation because you do like them and care about their friendship, but somebody else who may not understand where you are coming from might see it as just self absorbed.
I'm not trying to insult you at all, so please don't take it that way. Like I said, I've never had a problem with you and certainly would have told you if I did, but thats the only thing you have done that I could see somebody misinterpreting or getting pissed off about. I've never seen you post insulting things or really even anything thats borderline rude or offensive, so it's not that. I think the person should have told you what it was you did that upset them though, before they blocked you. Lots of times in a text medium misunderstandings happen a lot.
I've blocked people from FB before, for various reasons. I'll go down the list of a few folks and things they did so you can see if maybe you did something like this to this particular guy, if it helps.
I once had a friend on FB who I enjoyed talking to but who seemed to try and monopolize every single second of my online time. This person would not only send me long PM's on another site which would take me a long time to answer because they had tons of questions in them, but as soon as I'd sign onto FB within five minutes I'd get a chat message from her. If I'd say I was busy she would ask what I was doing and then ask me why I couldn't do that and chat at the same time, because she could do that. I *could* do that, but I didn't always *want* to do that. I tried explaining it, but that didn't work. She also nitpicked every detail of anything I said or did.
Another person on there posted huge, dramatic events and long rants about them and unless you posted something back in her thread she would PM you and accuse you of not reading her or not supporting her view.
Yet another gal would read through her newsfeed and leave a challenging comment on any post that she thought promoted wrong religious or political views. She would then post more stuff supporting her views on the persons page.
Then there are the in general drama queens who have a problem with anything and everything, no matter how small it is in their life and post long rants over it and all their friends are supposed to be uber supportive of them even though they can't seem to distinguish between the appropriate amount to be upset when your grandmother dies and when McDonalds stops serving a particular sandwich or the stop light in town is not working properly.
There are tons of people like that on FB and I haven't seen you do any of those things, so the only reason I could think of is maybe the guy misinterpreted how you respond in chat conversations and took your responses as disinterest rather than you just letting him know you were listening although you didn't know what to say at the time.
