I just moved here last fall. It would be great to meet up with some others now and then.
I considered starting a meetup group, but thought I would give this a try.
There is a support group here, that might be my next option.
Just looking to make some friends really.

So send me an IM if you are interested.
We can have a beer, see some live music or just get something to eat.
I'm up for most anything really.
Well anything other than dancing I suppose.

I don't live there, but I really want to move there when I'm older. Is it really nice there?

I'm close by in upstate SC. I've thought about joining a support group down there bc I can't seem to find one here, but a couple hours of driving is still a lot.

Thanks for the replies.

Lightning, it's nice, there's lots to do, and people mind their own business.
A little warm, not much winter to speak of.
Maybe by the time you move here they will have the transit issues resolved.
I was stuck in traffic for about an hour tonight.

Jnet, I grew up in the upstate. Near the big peach.
Where are you ?
There is a meetup group in Charlotte, but I think it may be a lot of parents and children.

I'm in greenville, pickens, and anderson counties quite a bit. So not really close to Charlotte either.

Hi, and welcome to the ATL! I've lived here all my life, and it's a pretty nice place. Yes, the traffic has gotten horrible in the past ten years! Otherwise, it's not too bad here. I attend a twice-monthly adult Aspergers support group through the Autism Society of America. They are really nice folks, and I enjoy the meetings alot.

I'm still in SC, I know about the meetup group in Charlotte, and am subscribed to them but have never been to one of their meetings due to time/scheduling constraints.
