Do you think that it is possible to change your personality?

I feel like an extrovert living in an introvert's body. I do feel better after social interaction even though I can spend a weekend on my own amusing myself with hobbies. Ok, so I'm an omivert, but I would like to more open. I'd like to be able to talk to other people easily, I'd like to enjoy parties and be fun and have people want to spend time with me.

I have a tendancy to be too dark in my outlook, I'd like to be more positive, more inviting

This husky is me

You can change your behavior.
Some shy people learn and enjoy to socialize much because they need to promote their business, but most don't change in their actual preferences.

But please don't let this limit yourself, maybe you can change. Not everyone is the same. IMO a lot of people don't even try hard enough to have reason to say "it didn't work".
You can have a more positive outlook on life for sure.

I can temporarily put up a farce and seem like a super nice clever confident quick-witted charming NT. :D
Temporarily, and when I'm in top-shape.

I don't know I hope so.
I have always felt like have an identity but not a personality.
My interests and ideas have changed during my life but in social settings I have always been just bland and lacking personality.

I hope I can too, I'm ver compassionate and soft hearted, being a Buddhist, but I know I possess strength. I wish I could but much more assertive and less shy with people without being afraid of hurting others.

Someone "personality" is a mix of experiences, thoughts and brain processes. Therefore the "personality" can change because of further experiences and alternating thought and brain processes (for example getting rid of depression or anxiety).

My "personality" changed a few times during my life.

Things like "personality" disorders exist and they are in fact "personalities that should be changed". Therapists succeed on "curing" a lot of them. Therefore "personality" can be changed.
