Looking to join family cancer support group

With my mother still undergoing a battery of tests for her health problems, I've been thinking about joining a family and friends cancer support group of my local chapter of the American Cancer Society Hope Club. Joining is free of charge (thank heavens), as is availing yourself of their services. I feel like doing this once to get a feel for things, as I feel the need to be among people more often than not in times like these.
