as groups in minnesota?

I'm trying to find other people with aspergers/autism in the twin cities area. Do you people know of any?

Hi fellow Minnesotan.I know of two groups.One for adults and one for teen twenty something(or so it appears).The first is held in a church basement in North mpls,I have never been because........(wait for it,wait for it.......)I have aspergers OK,I keep thinking about it but cant get the nerve up.I also know a 20 year old aspie who goes to a meeting at the coffee depot,on Thursdays,that one cost $20.00(I think)because it is run by a "professional"(hey,they got to eat too).

well,I did a cut and paste, but it doesnt seem to connect to the site(I am computer newbie)I think you can get to the site by just going to yahoo groups and doing search for MNAspie.If you want info on the twenty something group at the depot,let me know and I will get the times they meet from my friend.I think they talk and may even plan activities,play games,I dont really know.I only stopped by one time to drop off some stuff for my friend.They seemed like nice group of folks...but twenty bucks(to experience social anxiety), is out of my price range.I like to reserve my extra money for fun things,like root canals .

Much appreciated, and as far as the term "anywho". I say that all the time and i've only lived here 8 years. I guess the minnesotans rub off on me a little bit.
