I'll be visiting a prospective university, and I'll have to stay over with two (NT) girls. I've never had roommates and I always have a difficult time interacting with typical girls. Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to survive those few days of living with those girls?

Thanks.

First impressions can be lasting ones...so you want to put your best foot forward. Don't be afraid but, keep in mind that people always seem to "size up" other people when they first meet...as long as you are pleasant and polite things should go perfectly fine for you. Besides, these young women are your "hosts" at the university to provide you with the opportunity of what you will be facing should you decide to attend school there...so you will be sizing them up as well in determinining if the university is "right" for you.

Above all, simply be yourself!

If you have trouble interacting, perhaps you could take some board games (chess, monopoly etc) to play with them.

My Aspie husband is uncomfortable in social situations, and finds playing games a great way to break the ice.

Be friendly. Compliment them, be interested in them, and tell them your new and sorta nervous. you should do fine.
