I'm not sure how seriously to take this study, but it's something to think about and observe. There's some ways of holding drinks that aren't on here... sometimes I hold mine (coffee or tea at the local coffeeshop) on my lap as I sit back in my chair and observe while thinking 'deep' thoughts... the Thinker.

So how do you hold your drink and what do you think it says about you?

I'd likely be the browbeater type.

The playboy type seems super-creepy. Who plays with bottles suggestively?

It's probably unconscious... or maybe a complete projection of the observer (I think that's what's called empathy ). But I'm sure you've seen it... someone kicked back in their seat, running their hand up and down the bottle in a kind of distracted way.

Or maybe they're referring to that really cocky way of swinging the bottle up and slurping while eyeing someone over it.

Gosh, I just hold mine like a normal cuppa Joe. I guess that would make me... "The Missionary"?

I think I'm a mixture between the walflower and the ice queen.

usually a straight stance, like I'm standing at attention holding my drink at my side with a half-bent elbow. Might be more ice-queen like actually.
